Description

Our client, a leader in their industry is looking for an outside (territory) sales representative to drive business growth and build lasting relationships with customers (B2B). Territory is GTA West Region (Brampton/ Milton/ Mississauga). Full time, permanent role. Monday - Friday (8.30 - 5.30). Salary: Base 70K - 75K (TC 85K - 100K+). Full benefits after 3 months, Group Pension Plan, car allowance, etc.

Responsibilities
  • New Sales Growth Business to business opportunities. New open or existing business for contracted waste
    and recycle collection services. Contracts based on term of service
  • Prospect targeted accounts to identify when their current waste management contracts renew
    New Business growth within target geographic territory
  • Business of Waste and recycle collection, processing and commodity management. Equipment sales,
    Waste to energy and landfill disposals, commodity reselling, waste audits and consulting services
  • Report to Director of Sales 
  • Responsible for contract negotiations of new acquisitions, key accounts and assist the sales team with
    their negotiations on cross account clients. Including travel to various client locations for on site reviews
    of services;
  • Account retention, Account Renewal negotiations;
  • Product Destruction services oversight with new sales and ongoing contacts;
  • Travel client meetings, association events and trade shows;
  • Industry Specific equipment sales and leasing (compactors balers trailers);
  • Supervision of Waste Auditor during on site MOE audits;
  • Weekly Sales Report preparation;
  • Regular use of CRM Navu Sales,
Qualifications
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills to close deals and build client relationships
  • 3 years of previous outside sales experience in B2B sales
  • High school diploma required; a degree in business or marketing is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Basic understanding of the products or services being sold
  • Ability to identify leads, generate new business, and manage existing accounts
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with software and basic computer tools
  • Knowledge of recycling industry regulations and sustainability principles is a plus.
