| Responsibilities
- Control and execute the pay cycle for approximately 2700 Canadian employees (salaried and hourly)
- Follow up the vacation quotas
- Assist SAP users for all questions related to pay
- Provide excellent customer service support
- Issue off-cycle payments
- Prepare all requested reports
- Participate in process and procedures improvement for the payroll department
- Analyze and verify deductions at source remittances and issue them to the government within prescribed delays via Ceridian
- Verify and produce the T4/ T4A/ Releves 1 (Qc) for the year - end and issue the modified T4/ T4A/ Releves 1 (Qc)
- Produce interface for net pay, group insurance and savings bonds
- Produce and balance G/L interface
- Continuous Process improvement
- Interface with other Shared Service teams to investigate and resolve issues
- Coordinate with other Shared Service teams to deliver seamless service to customers
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and initiatives outlined in the Health and Safety Manual

Qualifications
- Fully bilingual (English and French) spoken and written preferred
- University education or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll experience
- Knowledge of SAP an asset
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, related to customer service
- Able to meet deadlines, prioritize work and effectively manage diverse resourcing requirements
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analyze internal customer needs through soliciting, evaluating and acting upon customer feedback
