Great opportunity for an experienced bilingual (German/ English) Business Unit Accountant with a multi-national well established organization. Excellent benefit package!

 Responsibilities

  • Full cycle accounting; including processing invoices- Accounts Payable, Accounts Reconciliations (including bank account reconciliations), financial statement preparation
  • Assisting with forecasting/ budgeting and variance analysis
  • Financial modeling, finding cost savings, doing analysis on new business, analyzing profitability
  • Special Projects as required

 Qualifications

  • Must speak, read, and write German and English fluently
  • Must possess or be working towards a recognized accounting designation (i.e. CGA, CMA)
  • Must have a minimum of 3-4 years of full cycle accounting experience
  • Recent experience of using Great Plains is an asset
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be communicating with all levels of management including the president of the company
  • Advanced Power Point, Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self starter with aptitude to plan, organize, and perform multiple tasks concurrently in order to meet deadlines
