| Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the recruiting support of the Canadian Operations.
- Recruits, sources, screens, interviews, and processes candidates
- Assists with implementation of recruitment strategies for difficult - to - fill positions and participates in branding the organization as a premium employer of choice
- Expands hiring capabilities among key business areas
- Works with hiring managers to identify interview evaluation criteria and competencies
- Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house resources to identify and recruit top talent
- Evaluates skill level, conducts reference checks, makes salary recommendations, and manages the offer and transition process
- Implements "proactive" sourcing strategies to include targeted sourcing methods
- Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Conducts behavioural based interviews
- Prepares candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on our company, business strategies, job descriptions, and expectations
- Follows up and secures feedback form hiring managers and candidates in a timely fashion following interviews
- Represents the company in career fairs, open house and different recruiting events

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a Corporate Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Excellent English and French verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in full-lifecycle recruiting within a medium to large sized organization
- Behavioural interview and professional recruitment training
- Recruiting and Applicant Tracking System experience (People Click preferred)
- Strong phone and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate salaries
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated cold-calling abilities
- Ability to travel (25- 40%)
