| Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for providing a high level of service to participants through letters and phone calls for improving the relationship between the organization, the members, their staff and families by increasing awareness and understanding of their Insurance Program.
- Handles incoming and outgoing calls from participants
- Offers input for revisions to the Program as needed
- Corresponds through letters and by phone with participants when necessary
- Conducts coverage reviews and informs participants of areas needing review and improvement
- Assists participants with the completion of applications by phone
- Deals with participants to resolve insurance issuing problems involving insurance companies
- Participates in initiatives to conserve coverage including insurance reviews, cross selling, product promotion, registered letter calls, lapsed coverage calls and one-on-one consultations
- Attends conventions and off site meetings when necessary
- Conducts special projects as required
- Assists Administration Team when necessary
- Provides input to Service Supervisor for progress reports and recommendations to be presented to the Executive Team
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by the Vice-President, Insurance Services
- Ensures continuing education credits are completed as needed for license renewal

Qualifications
- Must be bilingual (written and verbal) in French and English
- Insurance Customer Service Experience
- Level 1 LLQP or RIBO license
- Must possess excellent communication skills - verbal and written skills
- Must display initiative, demonstrate solid interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team atmosphere
- Working knowledge of Word
- Ability to work rotating shift work 11.00 am - 7.00 pm every five weeks or as required
