Our client is seeking a highly professional, organized and dynamic receptionist to join their not for profit organization.

 Responsibilities

  • Receives visitors to the office, obtains information about the nature of their visit and directs them appropriately
  • Provides communications and outreach materials such as reports and brochures to visitors who have inquiries about the office and its work
  • Answers incoming calls to the general office number and obtains information about the nature of the call and directs it appropriately, taking messages where required
  • Provides potential complainants to the office with intake forms to complete and schedules appointments with intake staff where appropriate
  • Processes standard form letters and correspondence as required
  • Conducts internet searches for requested information as required
  • Sorts and packages printed materials for mailing and distribution
  • Deals with incoming and outgoing mail/courier deliveries as needed, including receiving, stamping, maintaining logs and directing appropriately
  • Other administrative support duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned

 Qualifications

  • Complete high school education
  • Minimum 9 months experience providing receptionist and administrative support services in a professional environment including dealing with members of the public
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Strong with MS Office Suite
